At Your First Dental Appointment
Many patients transfer to Mitchell’s Crew because of past poor communication or frustration that their time was not valued. The goal at Mitchell’s Crew is for patients to be in optimal dental health, be educated on preventative dentistry and to avoid a “repair-shop” mentality (fillings, root canals, crowns). The first dental appointment establishes one-on-one communication with Dr. Mitchell so that all concerns and expectations are addressed. Valuable information is gathered via diagnostic records, including:
- • Oral Cancer Exam
- • Periodontal (gum) Exam
- • Radiographs (x-rays)
- • Diagnostic Exam of Teeth
- • Diagnostic Photos
In order to make your first dental visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible, please come prepared with the following information:
- 1. A list of any or all medication that you’re presently prescribed and taking
- 2. Your dental insurance information
- 3. Patient Forms filled out
